Sinfonia Warranty Information

As per Sinfonia's terms, any issues with the printer or media after purchase, has to be handled directly by Sinfonia.

4. Warranty

4.1 Warranty Coverage. Warranty which KG Digital passes on from the manufacturer to the Customer covers printer parts and labor for S9045, S1245 & S2145 printers for the period of one year up to 10,000 prints from the date of the KG Digital invoice to Customer. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and does not cover: (a) defects or damage resulting from use of products other than in the normal customary manner; (b) defects or damage from misuse, accident or neglect; (c) defects or damage from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, alteration, modification or adjustment; (d) Product disassembled or repaired in such a manner as to adversely effect performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to verify any warranty claim; (e) Product which has had the serial number removed or made illegible; (f) damage caused to print heads due to use of improper handling or cleaning; or (g) damage caused by the use of non-genuine consumables. Warranty registration cards must be completed and returned to KG Digital or warranty registration form must be completed on www.kgprophoto.com.

4.2 Procedures of Warranty Claims:
Customers wishing to claim defective products under warranty terms must contact technical support at 800-597-4351. A technician will diagnose problem / defect and if needed an RMAR (Return Merchandise Authorization Request) will be issued. Product will be returned for depot service to KG Digital’s service center. KG Digital does not bear packaging or shipping costs.

4.3 Optional Warranty Services:

4.3.1 Advanced Exchange Service: Valid within the standard warranty period ONLY, an equivalent printer will be shipped in replacement of defective equipment which was not abused or otherwise misused as noted in Section 4.1 above. The replacement printer will then become the property of the original owners and the balance of the warranty period transfers to the replacement unit. KG Digital will bear ground shipping and packaging costs. Please see price list for pricing details.

4.3.2 Extended Warranties: Extended warranties are available and follow the same terms and conditions as the standard warranty. Extended warranties must be ordered within 30-days from original purchase order date and the Product must be in operating condition at time of purchase of extended warranty. Please contact your sales representative for details.

4.4 THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED IN THIS ARTICLE 4 IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHICH ARE SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, DURABILITY, ACCURACY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT NO SALES REPRESENTATIVE OR OTHER REPRESENTATIVE OF KG DIGITAL OR ITS AFFILIATES IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY ON BEHALF OF KG DIGITAL OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATE OR MANUFACTURER THAT IS NOT INCORPORATED IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IN NO EVENT SHALL KG DIGITAL BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF ANY PRODUCT OR FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOST PROFITS OR SAVINGS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY PRODUCT.

4.5 Out of Warranty Services:

4.5.1 Repair Loaner Service: Loaner units are available for the length of the repair/maintenance period. KG Digital requires a purchase order and credit card (Visa or MasterCard) to be used as security collateral. If loaner is not returned within the 5-days after receipt of repaired/maintained Product, the Customer will be charged a late fee of $100/day to the maximum of the printer’s MSRP value. Loaners units with an excess of 1000 prints will be charged $.20 per print. KG Digital does not bear packaging or shipping costs.

4.5.2 Standard Repair and Maintenance Services: KG Digital provides repair and maintenance services for out of warranty Products. To return a Product to KG Digital for repair or maintenance, please follow the procedures outlined in Section 4.2. A purchase repair order for a minimum $250 will be required in order to process your repair. Actual repair charges vary, if so notifications will be issued. Standard repair labor rate is listed in the price list. Priority repair service is available and pricing is listed in the price list. KG Digital does not bear packaging or shipping costs.
