And, the printing side of the paper is on the inside of the roll, helping

Superb Print Quality
Incorporating Sony dye sublimation technology, the Sony UP-DR200 printer
produces photoquality prints. Crisp and vibrant prints can be created
with natural, continuous tones, on print media that is very similar in
texture to traditional photography paper. In addition, the Sony UP-DR200
printer offers two types of surface finish - glossy and ProMatte - and
it can print onto four different paper sizes: 3.5 x 5 inch, 4 x 6 inch,
5 x 7 inch, and 6x8 inch.
High-volume Printing
With its large paper capacity, the Sony UP-DR200 printer is a true workhorse.
For example, it can hold a roll of paper for 700 4 x 6 inch prints, 400
5 x 7 inch prints, or 350 6 x 8 inches. This high-volume printing capability
results in less time spent replacing paper media. Plus, the paper roll
itself is small in size, so the printer retains a compact form.
Easy to Maintain
The front-loading operation and auto-loading mechanism of the Sony UP-DR200
printer enables easy replacement of paper and ribbon. Simply open the
front door and insert the roll and ribbon! Maintaining the Sony UP-DR200
printer does not require special technical training. The printing side
of the paper roll has been inverted to avoid leaving fingerprints during
paper replacement. Moreover, front loading allows the printer to be installed
in even the tightest spaces, such as a kiosk. In fact, the Sony UP-DR200
printer is ideal for kiosk applications as the paper outlet is located
at the upper of the unit. The convenient rear panel provides recessed
interface connections that make setup and access easy. Plus, any power
cord or USB cables, can be clamped to the main unit to prevent them from
being unplugged.
High-speed Printing
The Sony UP-DR200 printer operates at high speed, regardless of the print
size. For example, printing a 4 x 6 inch image takes approximately 8 seconds,
a 5 x 7 inch takes approximately 12.5 seconds, and a 6 x 8 inch image
takes 14.5 seconds.
