Important Notice
Shinko is modifying it's media for the 2145 printer and a firmware version 14.xx
or higher is required before the new media can be used. If you do not have the
correct firmware version, please update your printer by using the following
instructions:
To check your firmware version, press the menu button
on the printer until the display shows the main version.
To upgrade for the S2145 to version14.xx:

Download the firmware from the following link: 2145 Firmware

Connect PC to printer with USB cable, power ON printer.

Open the printer door.

Double-click the S2145upgrade (windows batch
file) file.
Application window pops up, and starts installing the firmware
upgrade.
Do not interrupt this operation after it starts as it could damage your
printer.
